Easy Gravy For Poultry (from One Dish Meals cook book) When the gravy is gone but you still have lots of turkey or chicken left, here’s help...a good recipe for making more tasty gravy for serving over the meat or when making a hot turkey or chicken sandwich. 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 2 tablespoons flour 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules Pinch each of thyme and onion powder 1 cup hot water Browning sauce (such as Cross & Blackwell’s) In a one-quart microwave-safe casserole, heat butter at high power 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in flour, bouillon granules, thyme and onion powder. Gradually stir in water. Heat at high power 2 or 3 minutes or until thickened, stirring often. Add a drop or more of browning sauce for desired colour. If thinner gravy is desired, add a small amount of water.
