Elinor Selig Roberts was born July 9, 1932 at home in Port  Medway, Nova Scotia. She attended public school in Port Medway, then left to see  the world, traveling to many countries. She has lived in Rensselaer, New York for 10 years and Homer, Alaska for 10 years. Eleanor is now retired to Long Cove, Nova Scotia (three miles from her hometown of Port Medway) where she is enjoying her five children, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She continues to write about growing up and living in one of the most beautiful  parts of the world.
