Wobamkek Beach Summer Resort is history now and existed briefly during the first half of the 1900s but was nevertheless an interesting time for the coastal area in Nova Scotia.

Email QCT if you have any knowledge of the former resort during the first part of the 1900s or if you know of any photographs taken at that time.

This Beautiful Beach in Port Mouton was once the playground for guests at Wobamkek Resort which included a few cabins and a dining room. Opened in the 1920s, it operated for more than two decades before fading into history. (Photo by Mary Mouzar)
