Facilities
Kejimkujik, the only inland national park of Canada in the Maritimes, features abundant lakes and rivers ideal for canoeing. The lush woodlands and gently rolling landscapes are home to a variety of wildlife. Visitors will find historic canoe routes, portages and many beautiful hiking trails in the park.

Thomas Raddall Provincial Parks
All day-use provincial parks operate from Victoria Day weekend until Thanksgiving Day weekend. Opening and closing dates for camping parks, however, vary.
2008 Season: May 16 to October 18
Reservation system, implemented lets campers choose campsites within campgrounds, and is accessed online or by phone at 1-888-544-3434, between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. Reservation fees this year are $6, with a $4 cancellation fee.
An alcohol-free policy implemented at all parks from opening day until after Canada Day. The alcohol-free period during the start of the season has been in place at some parks in the past, but has now been extended to all provincial parks.

Location:
Port Mouton International Hostel is located in the old Port Mouton Consolidated School on Hwy 103 about 10 minutes from Liverpool, about midway between Halifax and Yarmouth on the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada.
Facilities
The hostel is on the ground level of the school. There has been much retrofitting to make this usable as a hostel but still enjoys the feel of the school. Hallways have the bulletin boards and the rooms have the teachers names on them.
Situated on the ground level, the facilities are wheelchair accessible.
Former classrooms on the upper floor have been converted into a craft shop, art gallery and a collectables shop.
One classroom is open as a meeting room with an overhead projector that connects to a computer. This room can be used for yoga and meditation as well.
Studios are available for rent to artists or those looking for a quiet space to work.
By provincial law the building is no smoking and guest must be 18 or older unless they are with an adult.
